From 21st August to 21st December, I’ll be living in Newark, New Jersey. In a case of lightning striking twice, I’ve been awarded a second Fulbright Scholarship. In 2021, I spent six months in the Bronx. This year I’ll be spending four months in New Jersey at Rutgers University – Newark, helping to lead a course called “Local Citizenship in a Global World”. It’s a very exciting prospect, with the added spice of being in the US for the Presidential election. I’ll be sharing my thoughts and experiences here. Please feel free to comment (politely).
